Once again it is time to gear up for Camp Chemo 2020 Rainbow of Kindness. Camp Chemo is where Orange Out comes to the hospital each Wednesday, from June until August, and brings the kids who are inpatient the feeling of being at camp. So it our a great privilege to honor Desmina Hoang-Davis this year.
Orange Out fills 60 bags with a t-shirt, crafts, games and snacks to hand out to the kids. Each week we have snack bags and games or crafts related to our camp theme for the kids to come down to the family room and participate. During the weeks of camp, we have several sponsors who send extra theme related snacks to make the kids feel good. The family room is decorated with the camp theme and there is a photo booth area set up so the kids can take a picture. This camp really makes a long hospital stay much more fun.
