The Orange Out Foundation and the Utley Family have come together to award the M/C Forever Friends Scholarship. This scholarship will be awarded in May to a Class of 2024 high school graduate who is either a cancer warrior, the sibling of a cancer warrior or the sibling of an angel who lost the battle with cancer. The scholarship is honoring the “forever friendship” between two great warriors, Mathias Utley and Chloe Brown.
As you know, you meet many people along any typical journey. The journey that cancer warriors endure brings about some epic friendships. Mathias Utley met so many and influenced many more with his strength and dedication to his faith during his fight with Childhood Cancer. Mathias never met a stranger and no one walked away without smiling. This scholarship honors his cheerful disposition and beautiful smile throughout his battle as well as the friendship he shared with Chloe.
Please click on the application and fill out the requirements. This scholarship is open to students graduating from an accredited (or home school) high school in the state of Texas and a patient, or sibling of a patient who was treated for cancer in the DFW area.
